Ellis is officially a Malaysian citizen!  Not only does he not know what a citizen is, but he also doesn't know that he's not going to keep it because he's going to be American.   But until he's 12, he can hold both passports.

This is the passport office in Georgetown.
Getting the passport was super easy and quick.  We were in and out of the office in around 30 minutes.  We needed to wait an hour for them to make it so we took a stroll down the street where all the colonial buildings are, while Ellis napped.  There are so many tourists that wander around here (Georgetown is a world heritage site), but it's a place where we never go unless we have visitors here.

And we stopped at a cool local cafe for some iced lemonade and playtime.

By 11:15, he had his passport in hand!
