Day two of Reuben being gone (he's in Nepal).
I got a sweet email from a friend I haven't heard from in a long time.
Reuben left Ellis this note:
Sweetness! |
Someone texted me to say that they were praying for me...and lending me a baby swing.
A friend told me she was coming over yesterday afternoon and giving me dinner.
A different friend asked me over to her house for dinner tonight. When I said I didn't have the energy to leave the house again, she came to me! She brought dinner...and did my dishes!
I needed a change of scenery earlier today, so I went to the mall and completely exhausted Ellis. He screamed for about five minutes on the way back in the car and then fell asleep (he never does that). When we got home, I parked the car and had a little rest in the drivers seat until he woke up.
This evening, Ellis belted out the biggest giggles I've seen yet !
And last but not least, I watched this and got some giggles, too:
“When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
What ever my lot you have taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul”
When sorrows like sea billows roll
What ever my lot you have taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul”
