Things like parks you never appreciate until you have a child and then you start wishing they were there.  Parks aren't exactly Malaysia's forte, nor are sidewalks, wild spaces, or most things pedestrian/child-friendly for that matter.  So we are lucky to live near a park that we can walk to. We took Ellis there for the first time yesterday.

The playground
Malaysians love their exercise equipment

Ellis wasn't a big fan of the slide.

And we thought that he would love bubbles, but they were lost on him.  He wanted the wand more than anything.

Not fun, mom.

But there were trees to touch

And tree roots to jump over.

So we'll come back another time.
