I have a super-easy-totally-delicious recipe to share with you, although you can hardly call it a recipe because it is that easy.

Take a can (or two) of sweetened condensed milk and put it (unopened) in a slow cooker.  Add enough water to cover the cans.  Then leave it and forget it.  Cook on low for 8 hours or 4-5 hours on high like I did.  The longer you cook it for, the thicker it gets.  I pulled out one can an hour earlier than the other one to experiment.

No, the cans won't explode.

The results?  Gooey, creamy, caramel-y Dulce-de-leche.  Yum.

This stuff is so good on ice-cream, as an apple dip, or eaten with a spoon.   Perfect for the holiday season. You're welcome!
