In December (I forgot to post the pics!) I had to go to the immigration office, which is on the mainland, to take care of my visa stuff. (My work visa was expiring and I had to apply for a new one, the equivalent of a spousal visa.) We decided to come back via ferry. Whenever I ride the ferry here, which isn't often, as we rarely leave the island, I try to let go of my expectations as a former WA State ferry commuter, when I rode the ferry between Bainbridge Island and Seattle every day. On the plus side, it is a lot cheaper! Taking a car on the ferry costs just over $2.

A fun little way to go from point A to point B, though I'm glad I don't have to do it every day!
