Cherry blooms

Yakima is the tail end of the cherry blossom season.  I am praying that these cherries grow extra fast and are early this year, because we leave right around the time they start being harvested.
This orchard belongs some friends who farm and own a local gift shop.  They also sell their fruit - cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples, pears, and apricots.  I worked here for several summers in my college days.  I miss the fruit so much!

I thought that Ellis would enjoy the flowers, but he couldn't have cared less.  The farmers are hard at work in the orchards right now, and there were tractors humming in the distance.  Just the sound alone is enough to send him into a tizzy!
