Whenever I reach the end of one journal, I spend some time reading through it from the beginning. It reminds me of who I was and where I've been. It's a great deal of soul-care happening in those pages, much of which is still a work in progress. So as not to forget it all, particularly the things that I don't feel have come to a completion yet, I transfer the worthiest of snippets from the old book to my new journal. I wish I wasn't such a slow learner, it would save me a lot of ink and lead! I'm nowhere near finished with what I want to copy forward, but I already see very clear themes in what I am most needful of and the lessons that I'm too dense to learn the easy way. Herein lies image of the inaugural pages of my new journal. Enjoy!
